The IGB company
was founded in summer
2001 by Viktor Schranz, and offers state of the art manufacturing of
pistol barrels and blanks. From "drop in" to
fully fitted, from small series to custom made and prototyping. Viktor
Schranz graduated from the renowned Ferlach Gunsmthing School and
dedicated 20 years of his working life to sport pistols.
Many solutions are
patented and all products are thoroughly tested by competent shooters
for duty or competition use in the preproduction phase.

special forces and weapons enthusiasts worldwide.
Processing
The blanks are made from
best Austrian steel and the rifling cut with modern HBR technology in
house. To ensure the longevity and durability of our products, all
stressed components are teniferred, plasma-nitrated or surface coated,
e. g. with titanium nitrate..
Our compenstors are of
course also made of premium tool steel. We optionally provide all
parts in stainless quality..
Quality Management
means to us documenting
the path of each barrel from steel bar to the finished product. Each
and every barrel is test fired for function and accuracy before
delivery. WE give top priority to short turnaround and competent
advice by our qualified and experienced staff consisting of gunsmith,
military expert, LEO firearms trainer and sport shooter.
Flexibility
Small production runs on
universal metalworking machines guarantee current processes and
flexibility. This allows us to react to customer requirements and
continually integrate new ideas.
